Destination Marlborough is the region's Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO). 

The organisation exists to grow and support a sustainable visitor economy that contributes to achieving a Smart and Connected economy for Marlborough.

 

The organisation’s purpose is to attract visitors to the region, build visitation to improve business sustainability, encourage visitors to stay longer and do more and support the delivery of quality visitor experiences that will compel visitors to come back and send others.

 

Destination Marlborough is a not-for-profit Trust funded through a combination of Marlborough District Council rates including a tourism targeted rate, private sector partnerships and i-SITE revenue.
