ATEED (Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development)
ATEED facilitates tourism, major events, business and industry sector development and activities to attract investment. The organisation is also the guardian of the Auckland regional brand. As Aucklands destination marketer, ATEEDs Destination team works in partnership with Auckland tourism operators to grow the regions visitor economy. The Destination team encourages visitors to come to Auckland, stay longer and spend more, while at the same time supporting the Auckland tourism industry to develop marketable tourism products. The team also works with the offshore travel trade in key visitor markets to up-skill them to market destination Auckland.
